Carbs are an essential part both of your daily diet and of giving your body the energy it needs. I hope this post helps you understand a bit more about the difference between types of carbs so that you can put your food to work for you and give your body what it needs! Personally, I always try to have multiple macro’s (macronutrients: fat, carbs, protein) at each meal so that my body gets a little of everything. For simple carbs my favorite is greek yogurt & forzen fruit smoothies. For complex carbs I usually go with 12 grain or rye bread, quiona and a small mountain of veggies! :)
